Torrance : Another Kid From Akron

Torrance: Music is Therapy For independent artist Torrance, music isn’t just sound it’s survival. Born in Akron, Ohio and raised in Blue Rapids, Kansas, he grew up in a place he describes as “a lot of broken dreams, drugs, and no ambition.” That reality, combined with personal battles, has shaped him into the artist he is today. “I think the biggest challenge for myself and probably a lot of other independent artists is getting your music in front of new listeners and getting them to listen in,” Torrance shares. “There’s a lot of hard work put into this stuff, and it’s nice to see an audience build up who respect the vision and the passion behind the music.” For Torrance music is more than a grind its therapy.
