A “Bench” Superstar?

Yvng Bench is not your typical rapper, and that is exactly the point. Born in Newark, New Jersey and raised in Berlin, he represents a perspective that hip hop does not often highlight. Instead of leaning into the usual narratives, he embraces life in the suburbs and makes it sound cool, intentional, and authentic. What immediately separates Yvng Bench from others is how naturally his personality blends into his artistry. He describes himself as a nerd, and he does not hide it. You can see it in how he dresses, how he carries himself, and most importantly, in what he chooses to rap about. While many artists chase trends, he leans into individuality. His music reflects a lane that feels underrepresented, giving listeners something different without forcing it. Consistency is a major part of his strategy. Yvng Bench is committed to dropping new music every two weeks, making it clear that he is not just experimenting with the rap game, he is building within it. With a full year of m...

Past November is a artist for the Future

PastNovember: The Artist of the Future  Born in Bloomington, Indiana, and raised in Indianapolis, PastNovember’s story isn’t rooted in one place it’s shaped by movement, change, and experience. Like many artists who come from constantly shifting environments, his sound reflects that same unpredictability. Indiana raised him, but it didn’t define him and that’s exactly how he approaches music. What separates PastNovember from the crowd is something a lot of artists claim, but few actually live by: true versatility. In an era where trends dominate and artists often chase whatever sound is hot, he moves differently. There’s no bandwagon here. No forced aesthetic. No boxed-in genre. Instead, his catalog is a reflection of exploration an artist willing to experiment, evolve, and tap into whatever emotion or influence feels real in the moment. That mindset is about to take center stage in a big way. PastNovember is currently building momentum with multiple projects in motion: a collabo...

Torrance : Another Kid From Akron

Torrance: Music is Therapy For independent artist Torrance, music isn’t just sound it’s survival. Born in Akron, Ohio and raised in Blue Rapids, Kansas, he grew up in a place he describes as “a lot of broken dreams, drugs, and no ambition.” That reality, combined with personal battles, has shaped him into the artist he is today. “I think the biggest challenge for myself and probably a lot of other independent artists is getting your music in front of new listeners and getting them to listen in,” Torrance shares. “There’s a lot of hard work put into this stuff, and it’s nice to see an audience build up who respect the vision and the passion behind the music.” For Torrance music is more than a grind its therapy. Living with schizophrenia in an environment where mental health struggles often aren’t respected, he found healing through his craft. “Music is therapy to me… seeing people relate to what we’re going through and what we’ve been through means a lot. It makes me feel like we aren’t...
