StanTheMann: Fun, Freedom, and Southern Roots in Every Track

From growing up in a home filled with vinyl records to being glued to his WalkMan as a kid, StanTheMann’s love for music runs deep. “I didn’t care if the album was good or bad,” he says. “I wanted to hear it.” This pure, uninhibited love for sound eventually led him to create his own. The moment that truly sparked his journey? Hearing Kanye West’s Yeezus for the first time at ten years old. “I wanted to make incredible art that resonated with people,” he recalls.

A Sound Shaped by Thug and Uzi

StanTheMann’s music is a reflection of his greatest inspirations. “When I heard Barter 6, I knew what kind of music I wanted to make,” he explains. “And when I heard LUV vs The World, I knew how I wanted to structure my songs—short and sweet.” Heavily influenced by Young Thug and Lil Uzi Vert, his tracks aim to be bold, energetic, and replay-worthy.

From Oxford to Michigan: A Move to Elevate

Born in Oxford, Mississippi, Stan holds a deep appreciation for the smooth, easygoing nature of the South. But in 2024, he made a pivotal decision—relocating to Michigan to dive deeper into the music scene. “I felt going to actual studios and meeting other artists would help me improve myself and others around me musically,” he shares.

The Fanbase Challenge

Like many upcoming artists, StanTheMann has battled with the pressure of maintaining a fanbase. “I feel like you have to rush your art sometimes just to please fans,” he admits. But for him, that’s not the goal. He’s passionate about creating timeless music and believes great work takes time. “I’ve always wanted people to appreciate the artists taking their time to perfect their work before it’s released.”

Music That Moves You—Literally

What does Stan want listeners to feel when they hit play? Pure enjoyment. “Music doesn’t always need a story or meaning behind it to be enjoyable,” he says. “Sometimes, fun music is better than lyrical.” Whether it’s a party track or something to vibe out to, his main goal is for people to feel good and live their best lives while listening.

What’s Next?

StanTheMann is all about evolution and consistency. While he promises growth, he’s also committed to keeping the same high energy that defines his sound. “I want my music to be timeless,” he declares.

With his unique blend of southern charm, futuristic flair, and a dedication to fun, StanTheMann is definitely one to watch as he continues to build his lane in the ever-shifting music landscape.
