Krim$on To Real to Be Fake

Krim$on: Confidence in Every Bar, Realness in Every Line

For Krim$on, music isn’t just something he stumbled into—it’s something that’s been woven into his life from the very beginning. Raised in a household that lived and breathed artistry, his path into rap felt inevitable. “My mom was a talent agent,” he recalls. “She’d find talented artists and bring them to the studio with motion. My sister was in and out the studio too, so I witnessed that life early.”

But even with music all around him, it wasn’t until after high school that Krim$on took the first step. It took a spark—a promise—to finally ignite his rap career. “My good friend Stoney really motivated me. He’d been rapping since I met him, and I told him he should take it serious. We made a deal to drop our first songs together as a duo—and that’s exactly what we did.”

Originally from Harlem, New York, and raised in Garland, Texas, Krim$on carries a blend of gritty energy and Southern swagger. His sound draws from a wide pool of influences, from the bounce of Migos to the melodies of Trippie Redd and Future, with a bit of Comethazine and Gunna thrown in. Still, he doesn’t box himself in. “I’m influenced by anything that sounds good to me. I just put my own spin on it.”

But talent doesn’t shield you from the grind. For Krim$on, the biggest battle has been consistency. “Doing this off the muscle of myself—it’s tough,” he says. “Life gets in the way, and it makes it hard to keep a steady engagement with fans. Also, building an image has been a challenge. I used to think I could stay low-key and blow up, but I realized people want to connect visually too.”

Despite the obstacles, Krim$on’s music stays rooted in one thing: self-confidence. “I want people to embrace themselves and know why they’re dope,” he explains. “Everyone’s different—no one can mimic your exact identity. You gotta live with yourself until you kick tha bucket, so love yourself. Keep your head high and move like you’re the coolest shit walking.”

With a voice full of honesty and a style that refuses to be boxed in, Krim$on is more than an artist—he’s a mindset. And he’s not just rapping for the hype—he’s rapping to inspire. Krim$on states he isn’t sure what’s next but it will be a next level move.
