 Eraztuz: From Lagos to the World, A Voice Carving Truth Through Sound


For Eraztuz, music has never been just a hobby—it’s been part of his soul since childhood. Raised in Ojo Town, Lagos State, Nigeria, he grew up immersed in the sounds of his father’s cassette tapes. Those early memories laid the foundation for a sound that now blends raw emotion, soulful melodies, and poetic honesty.


“Music became a part of me when I was younger,” Eraztuz reflects. “Listening to my dad’s music really helped shape my sound into what it is today.” By his early teens, that influence grew into ambition, and he began pursuing music as a dream worth chasing.


As an artist, Eraztuz draws inspiration from two icons: Juice WRLD and Playboi Carti. “Juice WRLD had a great influence on my singing vocals,” he explains. “But Carti influences me beyond music—into fashion and creativity as a whole.” That blend of sonic expression and visual identity defines much of his approach today.


But the road hasn’t been smooth. Like many rising artists, Eraztuz has faced real challenges. “I’ve been through a lot in my early music career,” he shares. “But I’ve learned that mistakes and struggles are part of the process. Be consistent, don’t give up, and your dreams will come to life.”


His sound is cool, solemn, and deeply reflective—music that invites listeners to slow down and think. “I want people to resonate with life the way I see it,” Eraztuz says. “My music uplifts the spirit and reveals the reality of life. It’s not just about the rhythm—it’s about the message.”


And that message is already connecting with fans. His debut EP, BLUE, surpassed 6,000 streams in just two months, while his latest single “Tarantula” crossed 1,000 streams in just two weeks. But he’s only just getting started. “A new project is on the way—maybe a mixtape, maybe an album—but definitely something real is cooking.”


With poetic depth, global roots, and an unmistakable voice, Eraztuz is proving that music from the heart will always find its way to the world.
